Washday
The ideal date for you and your LOHY Curl Hydration Glove is:
⇾ Post wash
⇾ Recommended Styling product applied
⇾ Hair still soaking wet
Useful tips
You would then place your LOHY Curl Hydration Glove on your hand and roll your head to the side so your Curls are free-falling mid-air. Starting from the ends, bring the Glove all the way up to the scalp and then pulse like you’re squeezing a stress ball 3-4 times. Then lower that section and move to another until you have worked your way around the whole head. I liken this whole motion to mimic a slinky-like motion, building your Curls each time you pulse at the top.
For anyone trying to relax the intensity of their Curls, place the glove on your hand and roll your head to the side so your Curls are free-falling mid-air. Imagine you were trying to squeeze water out of a rope, wrap your grip around a section and pulse, then move your hand down the section and continue. Make your way around the head with the same technique. This will elongate your Curls and help finer, more tangle-prone hair not get knotty.
Air-dry or diffuse-dry, either works fine. Make sure to use LOHY VOLUME + Root Lift Combs to help you get the root lift you need/want.
Refresh Curly’s for Hair
- This curl glove is best used on Wash-Day. However, if your refresh routine ends up in too much water, don’t fret. Once you have the desired clumps and styling product applied pop the Glove on and use the same way you did on wash day.
- Air-dry or diffuse-dry, either works fine. Make sure to use LOHY VOLUME + Root Lift Combs to help you get the root lift you need/want.
